The Morinda Advantage-The Natural Way
Traditional Tahitian cultures drained
the juice of the noni through a natural process and used it for multiple
purposes. This process preserved the essential nutrients and retained
the health-giving properties of the fruit.
When Morinda's founders set out to
reap the fruit's legendary benefits, they studied the preparation method
used by natives and developed a process of extracting and bottling the juice
of the noni that closely resembles the method used by native Tahitians.
They added only natural fruit juices
to assist in flavoring. More importantly, the process Morinda utilizes
has been proven to retain noni's vital constituents.
The Tahiti Advantage-A Perfect Garden Yields a Perfect Fruit
Morinda uses
the juice of fruit grown only in the lush island paradise of Tahiti.
The Morinda Citrifolia, or noni, is one of the most unusual plants
in the world.
It grows
in many tropical areas of the world, but of all places indigenous to noni,
only Tahiti envelops the fundamental environment elements essential to produce
a flawless noni fruit.
Its lush,
volcanic soils are rich and verdant, its water is pure and clean, and its
air is free from pollutants and harmful elements. It truly is "nature's
perfect garden."
Unlike other
companies, Morinda takes special care to return nutrients to the soil in
French Polynesia.
The pickers
are instructed to let some of the fruit to drop on the ground to nourish
and replenish the soil. Entire trees are skipped in the picking process,
and noni vineyards are grown specifically for the purpose of nurturing and
replenishing the soil.
NONI: Tahiti vs. Other Markets
Physical Contrast
Noni fruit
grown in French Polynesia is larger, richer and more succulent than its
counterparts and grows in far more abundance in the verdant, fertile habitat
of Tahiti.
Abundance
Noni fruit
in French Polynesia grows on every hillside, in every valley and on every
island. It grows in such abundance that ofentimes the end of the "noni
jungle" cannot be seen on the horizon. There is no other place on earth
where noni grows in such abundance.
Soil Quality
The soils
of Hawaii and other established markets have been commercially cultivated
for over seventy years. This over cultivation has stripped the soils
of the essential nutrients required to produce the top quality noni fruit
that can only be found in Tahiti.
One study
indicates that after 1981, the Hawaiian soils would no longer be able to
support an agricultural crop rich in nutrients due to over cultivation and
over fertilization.
Thermal Processing vs. Freeze Drying
Why
Thermal Processing
In order
to keep
TAHITIAN NONI® JUICE
formula as naturally close to the raw noni juice used by the native Tahitians,
Morinda does not add any preservatives or stabilizers.
Morinda
has adopted the practice of thermally treating
TAHITIAN NONI® JUICE
to prolong its shelf life and reduce the occurrence of contaminants.
Dr Ralph
Heinicke has developed a process to test for the active ingredients in the
noni juice. This process indicates that those essential elements are
still present in
TAHITIAN NONI® JUICE
, even after being thermally treated.
Thanks
to thermal treatment,
TAHITIAN NONI® JUICE
is completely free of contaminants. Every batch of juice is tested
by two independent labs as part of the quality assurance process.
Why
not Freeze Dry
Dehydrated,
or sun-dried fruit does not effectively maintain the active ingredients
in noni as well as the process used by Morinda.
Noni
fruit is 91% water and the enzymes are found in the moist pulp of the fruit.
Therefore, removing the water denatures the enzymes. In order to rehydrate
dried fruit, the addition of a sultifying agent is required.
